Question about tunisian blanket!

Hi! I really wanted to make a large blanket using Tunisian crochet, but couldnt find any examples of one made with rows. Is it just seperate rows stitched together in the end? Or do you work the new row in next to the existing row? If anyone has tips it would be greatly appreciated, id prefer not to use entrelac.

Loose blade/ centering

First ever scale swap, on the Cruwear manix 2, would've loved some cooler scales but the options are very limited over here.

The blade is still quite loose when its folded (was already the case before the swap). Also appears to be a bit offcenter. Is there any way to fix this? Seems to be way more solid when its opened.
