INFPs, how do you deal with the 'cold' energy of ISTJs at work? I feel like I’m walking on ice

Hey fellow INFPs. I’ve dealt with three different ISTJs in the past 3 years (including a boss), and the experience is always the same. I can’t stand how they treat people based purely on "utility."

It feels like they only show a shred of kindness if you’re useful to them or follow their rules perfectly. If someone is struggling or does a "worse" job, they get the cold shoulder. Just being in their presence gives me a literal cold feeling. As an INFP, I value treating everyone with basic human warmth regardless of their "competence," and this "merit-based" kindness feels so wrong to me.

How do you guys deal with this without losing your mind or feeling like you're "less than" just because you don't vibe with their rigid rules?

After hitting the 1,000-hour mark, I can honestly say I'm so glad I ignored all the bad reviews and gave Fallout 76 a try. It’s been an incredible journey, and even though I have almost nothing left to do, I still log in just to trade (thanks, r/market76!) and enjoy the beautiful Appalachian scenery.

This game has a charm that's hard to put into words. 🔥✨

Does anyone else find themselves logging in just to live in the world, even when the quest log is empty?
