I can't wait until this fad ends.
Why not play Gangnam Style, Mr Blobby, The Chicken Song, or Agadoo over and over?
They will be nobodies favourite band in 2 years time. Nobody gets home and puts on their record for fun.
This is a novelty. Either stop playing novelty songs, or play a wider variety of novelty songs.
Hello all,
I currently have a pair of KEF Wireless LS50 II speakers which I got for a very good price and am really happy with the sound. I have a B&W Bowers & Wilkins ASW610 sub which was also a steal. I do like this setup in my smallish room. I've had it for a couple of years now and it's still a pleasure to listen to, with Tidal especially being very convenient.
I had the intention of going all digital after moving house, but now I miss my records which are just decoration at this point (very expensive insulation my wife says). I thought about selling my collection but just couldn't bring myself to start listing them. Too many good memories.
My last turntable was a Rega P3 with a Denon DL-110 which I thought sounded great. Stupidly, I gave the turntable to my nephew when we moved house. Why did I give my turntable away? Ask whiskey! You try backing out of a promise to an ecstatic 19 year old after spending a family party bragging about your new digital only future. Thankfully, I kept my Rega Aria MK 3 Phono Stage.
Anyway, I saw the Rega P6 RS and instantly fell in love. My question is, would the P6 require a whole new system to get the best out of it? I also like the Rega P3 RS, but lean more towards the P6 RS.
I love Tidal, but I do miss the old listening ritual and badly want another turntable.
I know there would be the analogue to digital conversion with the records but realistically how much would I lose quality wise?
