So I’ve been working on this idea for a while now. It’s a platform where people could write down their life goals I.e traveling the world, release a product, improve relationships etc. and then break down the plans, and start cooking !

The concept came to me when I realised how many times I’ve delayed travel plans, projects I gave up too quickly because they felt impossible, things I wish I did more of.

So that’s where life’s debt comes in. Plan, conquer and share to the world! My concept is to have a platform like instagram but each post would have a meaning, each post is a task completed with an image attachment or without !

A more raw and real instagram. A place where you could see peoples journeys to their final goals!

With life’s debt you could create group plans, use AI to create a goal template or even use AI chat to help you plan.

I want this to be something for the people, built for them, adjusted for them, and created for them. No ads no bullshit just raw, real, beautiful journeys.

It's a bucket list eb app that allows people to plan, break don and track their life goals. We have features such as group planning, planning with AI and also a social feed. The social feed allows people to see your progress, similar to instagram where you could post images but each image would be more meaningful as it would be the start of a journey or showing that you are continuously working on your journy. No noneesense posts. Each post shows the meaning and purpose of life and that you are paying your own debt of life, EXPEREIENCES. Proof that you have lived. Leaving an imprint in this world.

The name life's debt came to me when I realised I kept delaying travel plans, projects that I forgot about etc. All for one reason or another and when I realised that it just hit me how volatile our lives our, our experiences and all the worlds stress making us delay living. WWhn you can't really delay living ? It doesn't make sense. So thats where Life's Debt - You owe it to yourself was born!

My vision with this is to have people genuinely get back on track with things they want to achieve. For me personally I always wanted to put something out there in the world and I guess this is it !

I want to build a supportive community, people getting excited for one another completing tasks even if it’s as simple as cleaning your room. Those are all check boxes that should feel satisfying and genuinely give off positive energy.

So I've always had issues with being consistent and once I fall off of the "high" of motivation I end up falling off a cliff and completely stop.
When I was in University I realised I was very very consistent when I had a list of tasks to complete to get past first year. I remember they gave us around 100 essential tasks and they could be done at our own pace and prove what we learnt. I ended up finding myself smashing them out 5 to 8 a day !!!

That always stuck with me tbh and found myself more proactive when there's a list and a plan. So I thought of a concept and I have been working on it for a couple of weeks now tbh, it's checklist / bucket list web app that could be used for ANYTHING really, planning trips to places you want to visit, goals you want to achieve, projects your working on etc with a social twist to it too!
Group planning & a social feed to show people what you have achieved, and where you are in your journey. My goal from this tbh is from the very begining I noticed I'd have so many ideas and give up on them, plans for travel and give up on them it felt like I did not achieve much in life really; But with this, this I want to be a finger print I've put out in the world. I remember my colleague asked me what I want to achieve with this and my response was I don't care what this does I have put something out there and if it helps 1 person I'd be more than happy.

So my question to you is what would work best for you to stay consistent and optimisitcs ?

(IDK HOW TO CHANGE TITLE: PRODUCTIVE*)

So I’ve been thinking the last couple of weeks, why should I keep using lovable. I’ve migrated all my backend stuff to my own supabase project and lovable removes all rights of flexibility when using it.

I can’t create new files, I can’t keep using my own supabase project because it automatically updates to the old one and now I’m thinking why use lovable ? Why not use chat-gpt or Claude for code building etc ?

So I wanted to know if you guys have any advice on fully migrated because my guess is when I fully deploy I wouldn’t want lovable to be limitation. Earlier I move from lovable the less chances of me being stuck there due to data stored, edge functions etc.

Am I making a mistake migrating ?

I've finally managed to connect my own supabase and fixing some errors with the migration but everytime I use a lovable prompt it changes my .env file messing up my migration and it's getting VERY annoying.

Anyway so I thought to fix that I need to disable the lovable cloud. but the connctors are not working for some reason anyway know how to resolve this ?

So I’d like to know what makes you all more productive. I noticed that for me it’s small doses of progression / mini goals.

I make a goal into smaller tasks and every time I put a line through a task it just feels soooo good. Honestly and it keeps me motivated.

So for me it’s checklist really. What is it for you ?

First off I wanted to thank all of you for building a very nice and welcoming community. Thank you all for your feedback on my last post and all the advice.

I’ve been working on a project that includes images stored, strings and all that jazz. I’m having a bit of an issue with loading more cards that includes all that data as I keep scrolling. Think of it like instagram I guess. I keep having issues with loading all those details.

I’ve already incorporated a “load visible cards” idk the right terminology but basically it does not load everything right away it only loads what is on the screen and then slowly loads other things as the user scrolls down.

So how would I improve website performance / loading speeds. I’d love to make the web app snappy and very response.

Is spending a lot of time on a landing page worth it ? Or should it be spent more on features, smoothness of the site, etc.

What have you seen works best for your landing page ? What layout / design and features to show in landing page ?
