Hey everyone, I know this sounds like such a minor thing but it's genuinely driving me crazy at this point.
Im trying to find some nice shorts I can wear to the beach or on a holiday trip. They cant be denim, and I don't want anything that looks like it belongs in my bedtime wardrobe either.
Ive been scrolling through pretty much every shopping app in India and nothing has really caught my eye so far. If any of you have good suggestions or brand recommendations, Id really appreciate the help

Realizing that some deep desires will never come true feels incredibly discouraging.

It brings that heavy why even try vibe. You know how it goes.

Sure, plenty of achievements sit within reach if someone works hard enough. Things like landing a solid job, building a loving relationship, gaining financial security, or chasing goals that demand real effort and sacrifice.

But then there exist other longings that stay completely out of reach.

No amount of normal effort can make them happen, short of some miracle or total shift in reality. I truly empathize with anyone caught in that spot, since I am living it right now at 23. I sit here fully aware that what I crave most lies beyond ordinary possibility.

It really sucks. Oooh well

Yesterday I was sitting in a small café, pretending to study but mostly watching people and drinking coffee. Then this guy walked in, looked around for like two minutes, clearly trying to build confidence to talk to a girl sitting near the window.
Finally he walks up to her and says:
“Are you Wi-Fi? Because I’m really feeling a connection.”
I honestly expected the biggest awkward silence ever. But she didn’t even smile at first. She looked at him very seriously and replied:
“Maybe. But the signal is weak. Try standing closer.”
The guy actually took one step closer like an NPC in a video game.
At that moment even the barista started laughing. The funniest part is that instead of dying from embarrassment, the guy continued the joke and said:
“Okay, now I have full bars. Do I get unlimited access too?”
And somehow… it worked.
They ended up talking for almost an hour like they already knew each other. Meanwhile I was sitting there thinking that if I tried the same line, I’d probably get blocked in real life.
Still one of the smoothest and funniest interactions I’ve ever seen. Sometimes confidence really carries the whole conversation.

Wearing: comfy pj shorts and an oversized tee
Sipping on: cherry tango
Snack situation: pretzels obviously
Little companion: my dog keeping me company
Energy level: super relaxed tonight
