Buddy of mine is moving overseas and gave me this cactus. He claims it’s LW, I would like to hear some opinions on people who have much more knowledge than myself. Thanks in advance!

A friend of mine is moving abroad and a couple of days ago he gave me one of his cactuses. He stated it was rare/ special and that he’s had it for a while. Can someone here in this community who knows cactuses fairly well tell me what they think it is?
