So this is a bit of a weird one I think. Here is the situation:
Girsan match x, staccato gen 2 grip, red dirt trigger.

The trigger is great, except when the slide is on and the magazine is inserted.
I tested without the slide on and the magazine inserted and everything was fine.
If I put the slide back on and take out the magazine, trigger is fine.
Only when the sldie is on and the magazine is in does the trigger suddenly get worse.
It gets heaver, and it feels like the magazine is in the way somehow.

Does anyone understand how the compensator on Akai's ripsaw works? It seems like it shouldn't, but it clearly does, based off reviews

I'm asking because I'm considering imitating it on a Romulus.

People often open the comp by getting rid of the divider on top

But it occurs to me you could have a unique look and hopefully an effective comp by copying the ripsaw style and leaving the divider and just removing the walls.

Obviously I don't want to do that unless I know it will work
