Mosadaqa
I’m a bit confused regarding mosadaqa. I didn’t receive any emails from the on-boarding team regarding it, is it required for me to do?

While I love every single Surah of our holy book so much because it serves as an eternal source of comfort, guidance, and profound empathy for the human soul, it also beautifully elevates and honors the status of women through its verses.
1. Containment and Comfort in Moments of Weakness
The Surah highlights the highest degree of "Divine containment and comfort" for a woman during her most intense times of isolation and distress, specifically during the throes of labor and her physical and psychological vulnerability, coupled with the fear of facing society.
2. Affirming the Power of Emotion and Motherhood
The Surah presents a unique model of patient and the moments of deep anxiety for one's children. It then reassures a woman's heart that Allah is the One who takes charge of care and brings about miracles.
3. Alleviating the Burdens of the Grieved
The verses make us feel just how close Allah Almighty is, and that He answers hidden prayers and removes feelings of anxiety and loneliness.
The listed above are only a few of the many miracles mentioned in that surah, but the amount of comfort and inner peace and strength I feel reading it is beyond what I can explain. I also highly suggest listening to the recitation by Nasser Al-Qutami.
Jazakum Allah Khairan
Omg I’m appalled to the core, and it’s actually very disgusting that we are normalizing attacking innocent people based on f*ucking lies and propaganda and it’s becoming more common here. We are starting to lose the title of being the safest province. I stood up for a Muslim young lady who was walking minding her business where a f*uck ass guy approach her and called her a crazy f*ucking terrorist, then yelled at her to go back to her country, like how the hell do you know she isn’t from here or born here, or is it okay to just attack all visible minorities? Poor girl was left shaking. Funny part is that he doesn’t look like he is from here either, maybe he should go back to his country. It is so traumatizing to see such hate and bigotry on this island. I’m ashamed. I have his description if anyone could help identifying him it would be great because he’s a miserable prick and wants to spread that here.
