Booked an Ather 450X in April, still no delivery and getting contradictory excuses every time
I booked an Ather 450X on April 23rd because I urgently needed a vehicle for daily use. At the time of booking, I was told that new stock would arrive in May and delivery wouldn’t take too long.
Later, when I followed up, I was specifically told that fresh stock would arrive by May 15. Based on that assurance, I continued waiting instead of looking for other options.
But when I checked again on May 15, I was suddenly told there is “no new stock due to LPG crisis.”
What’s frustrating is that there doesn’t seem to be any such ongoing crisis now, and this explanation feels extremely inconsistent and misleading. Every time I enquire, I get a different answer instead of a clear timeline or honest communication.
The worst part is that I genuinely needed the vehicle urgently, and because of these repeated assurances, I ended up wasting weeks waiting with no clarity at all.
I chose Ather Energy expecting a premium customer experience and transparent communication, but this entire process has been disappointing so far.
Has anyone else faced similar delivery delays or vague excuses recently with Ather deliveries?
