Attraction at 50

How many men or women actually find people your own age or older deeply attractive? I’m struggling with this. I am the type that either I’m attracted at the outset or it’s just not going to happen. I don’t find many men attractive at all and when it comes to older men it’s even more rare. But I miss genuine mutual desire. So much so I’m contemplating going back to a FWB I had that I know it can’t go anywhere simply because the mutual attraction was undeniable and powerful. I’m pretty but not exactly with an ideal body. I can’t very well expect a man to be different than I am in this. Has anyone been able to go from someone who needed immediate attraction to someone who let it build if there was at least enough physical attraction even it was maybe just a kernel?

Finally attained peace

So when I first came into this group I was in a place of basically white knuckling being single. I had been with my ex husband from 17-46 and then I went through and unrepentant hoe phase. Once that was done I thought about a relationship. I even tried one for a few months. Since then I have been intentionally single and celibate and there is one thing I can say for sure and for certain. I have attained a level of happiness and peace I have never had before. I love myself and my life and am completely content with my life. I know some in here have been single for life and loving it. Now that I’m on this side of it, I completely see why. This freedom and peace is true bliss. Has anyone else gone from perpetually being in relationships to blissfully single?
