my WLAN keeps acting up and im at my wit's end
Been having this problem for 1 or 2 years now and still haven't found a real fix.
Im havin issues involving my WLAN (wifi, hotspot, and bluetooth) modules on my laptop, a lenovo ideapad gaming 3. It basically shuts off whenever i open apps that are probably either cpu or gpu heavy, so it happens mostly when im gaming. At first i thought it was a hardware issue but the issue persists when i disable wifi and bluetooth adapter in device manager and use an external dongle.
Steps ive already taken:
Disable and enabled WLAN on bios
Changed power options to performance mode
Went on device manager and unticked the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" on wifi and bluetooth adapter powermanagement
Also unticked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in HID-compliant wireless radio
Reformatted my PC
Am i missing something? Or is my WLAN just cooked?
(I dont really care much about my wifi cuz im always on ethernet cable, but it just sucks i cant use bluetooth) Do i resort to changing the wifi chip? Or do i just cut my losses and get rid of it before it destroys my mobo?
Is this issue common for ideapad gaming 3s?
