From fruitboxes to Volkus the path is short

VIKING CRAFTS

Designed around the Volkus layout, but reworked with my own vision, new structures, new lines of sight, new storytelling.

Every piece shaped to feel brutal, industrial, alive.

And yes… the red vegetation is a small tribute to one of my favorite movies ever: Sin City.

A touch of contrast, violence and atmosphere to give this battlefield even more soul.

Hope you like it brothers!

My overgrown terrain - C&C are welcome

I wanted to experiment a lot for this projects, so i took many different materials.

The paintjob and wheathering took a lot and i was scared to almost coverup everything with vegetations.

But i trusted the process and i'm pretty happy woth the result!

My overgrown Volkus for my LGS - C&C brothers

A few weeks ago, my trusted LGS gave me a special project: building a full Volkus terrain set for the local community.

The goal wasn’t just to assemble terrain pieces, but to create something that could become part of the games, tournaments and events played in the store for months!

I decided to give the whole set an overgrown look, as if nature had slowly reclaimed the industrial structures of the planet.

Rust, vegetation, moss, corroded details and a grimdark atmosphere that still feels alive.

Every single piece was assembled, painted and decorated thinking not only about the aesthetics, but also about the gaming experience for the community.

Knowing that many different players will fight battles on this table makes the whole project even more meaningful to me.

This is my way of giving something back to a community that has always inspired me to create, build and improve.

Hope you like the result, and huge thanks to V-ONE Vicenza for making this project possible.
