I’m an MS Computer Science student from a university in Ohio.

1. I have 2 years of Software Engineering Experience
2. 2nd Ranker in Undergrad academics,
   Received Best Master’s Student Award in 2026
3. Published First authored paper on NLP & LLMs Research at EMNLP 2025, another co-author paper is under review at EMNLP 2026 , working towards 3rd paper. ( EMNLP is the Top NLP research Conference)
4. Working part time with P&G as AI research Assistant . ( on RAG, multi agent workflows )

I’m applying for AI/ML Engineer Jobs and hard time getting interview calls …

Do you think i need focus on doing more projects ?

I have extended my graduation another semester but i can start working immediately with CPT fulltime.

I’m on F1 VISA ( Immigrant )

What do you think I need to improve to get the job calls ? Do I need to do more projects or do I need to apply more jobs ??
