i drew a picture after finishing the book two days ago
what a fun little 1200 pages read! upset that Edmond didn’t end up with Mercedes, and still don’t understand how Valentine survived 3-day coma, elaborate if you guys know more details.

Do you know if birds have a sense of beauty and aesthetics not related to mating? I mean, can they, for instance seagulls, make a preference to live by a picturesque cliff rather than along some urban riverbank because they consider the former more beautiful? 🤔
