FF predicted my ovulation on CD24. Sadly, my husband was out of town starting CD23, so I’m hoping we were close enough. Before I added the high LH and the ovulation pain, FF said it was possible I ovulated early on CD21, but now they’re back to not confirming ovulation. I’ll continue to temp, but what do we think?
My daughter keeps peeing in the car seat, and I don't know what to do...
We have been potty training our 20 month old daughter for 2.5 weeks. It's been tough, but it's going really well. When we're super busy (museum, library, playground) she needs reminders, but when we're home she will reliably tell us that she needs to use the potty for both pee and poop. Except in the car. It doesn't matter if it's a five minute car ride after having just peed, odds are high that she will pee in the car seat. At home and out she wears underwear, but I've been keeping her naked in the car seat (to feel less like a diaper I guess, I don't know...) and I've kept puppy pads in the car seat. Sometimes she'll tell me that she has peed in the car seat, other times she won't. I remind her every time I buckle her in not to pee in the car seat, pee only goes in the potty. I'm not sure what else to do.
We’re starting day four, and we’ve been bottomless so far. We’re loosely following oh crap, and my daughter has definitely made progress. She progressed quite quickly from oblivious to I need to pee, and she shows very clear pee signs. She has some resistance to actually sitting, but we get most pee in the potty now. Poo is another story. Her signs are less obvious, and I haven’t realized she’s popping until it’s halfway out, then she still won’t sit, so I’m basically chasing her with a potty as she runs away with poo hanging out. We did put a dress on yesterday and spent some time outside, during which time she pooped on the lawn. So… do we add pants? Do we do another naked day? Any suggestions for poop?
Someone please just tell me it gets better.
By 8:30 am, we had a poop on the floor and two pees on the couch. I’ll catch my daughter mid-pee and move her to the potty, but as soon as I move her she stops peeing and then jumps up from the potty. If I prompt her she’ll either sit for two seconds or will refuse to sit. On day one we did have a couple poops in the potty and a couple pees. I hate this, and I feel like a failure.
