Following from my last post I've lifted the car and checked all bushings and suspension components. I can't find any play anywhere. This knocking sound is definitely coming from the rack and no where else.

Does anyone know the size of the Allen hole for adjusting the rack? It looks huge .

Has anybody had any luck eliminating steering play by adjusting it? Or shall I just bite the bullet and buy a new rack.
