(Spoiler just in case)

For Starfox on switch 2 when completing the easy mode we hear Fox worried he fell for Andross ploy, and shortly we see infact that is the case.

So what would had been Andross plan B in this scenario? He is a egomaniacal, and the war was just a projection of his want to be absolute, (so I wouldn't expect anything too logical from him) yet starfox and corneia still did lasting damage and destroyed his built up forces, stormed venom and left. He should be weaker, even before the ambush on James Mccloud.

Was Andross going to secure his fortress entirely and just blitz the system with neverending mechanized ships, or something else entirely?
