My younger sister is looking for a decent private college for BTech. Her JEE rank isn’t great, but she scored 85% in 12th boards.

We were considering Chandigarh University because of the scholarship options. She gave CUCET and got around 30% scholarship, but honestly the fees still feel a bit too high for us at that percentage. She may attempt the exam again, and we were hoping for something closer to 50%.

Our budget is ideally under ₹1.5 lakh per year (including tuition, if possible).

If anyone knows good private colleges with:

* decent placements,

* manageable fees,

* scholarship opportunities based on boards/entrance,

* and preferably hostel options too,

please share your suggestions or experiences. Open to colleges in North India only.
