2 weeks with a 2025 Mach E Premium coming from a Model Y

I picked up a 25 Mach E Premium in Glacier Gray 2 weeks ago, trading in my 21 Model Y. I thought I’d offer a few random thoughts/questions/minor complaints.

  1. The b&o sound system is fantastic but I wish it had a little more granular control over eq, etc.
  2. The cabin is super comfortable and I love that the center console is low. So often I end up resting my knee on higher consoles and it gets claustrophobic and uncomfortable. I’ve had trouble with my right knee for many years and this has always been a concern for me. The only thing that’s better is a center console not attached to the dash, like in a truck or the Nissan Ariya.
  3. I wish there was a way to select different info combinations for the dash screen.
4 I wish there was a “Now Playing” option for the dash info screen.
  4. I love the driving feel and maneuverability so far. I’ve been in Unbridle most of the time and it’s a fun car to drive
  5. I wish the regen braking was stronger, or at least an option for making it stronger, like in my Equinox EV. And I hate the regen braking intensity is tied to the drive modes. After driving the Tesla, I got so used to one pedal driving and even after 2 weeks I have to use the brake pedal after trying g to stop with regen braking. It just isn’t enough to be true one pedal driving.
  6. I wish the was a way to turn off the miles reading for the battery and just have the percentage. I did this with the Tesla and I never worried about range once the miles weren’t on the screen.
  7. I’m glad the put the Mustang name on this car. It gives it a little more personality than if they had come up with a new name or called it the Edge EV or something.
  8. Blue Cruise is ok, but I really wish there was a pathway to something similar to FSD. Once FSD fully matures it’s going to be hard to compete without a similar feature.
  9. Phone asa key has been hit or miss so far and I got so used to never carrying a key with the Tesla I really miss relying on that feature.

I'm looking to buy or build a backyard office/shed in CR. Nothing huge or terribly expensive, just insulated and finished inside. I've looked around Facebook and the internet and haven't been able to find a ton of info that gets me a sense of budgets and selection.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with a local builder or a.bettwr source for fining info.
