Picked up this 70s Cobra 21 w/ a K40(?) antenna base, handset and mount. I’m looking to install on a ‘77 Ford F-150. Not sure what’s up with the wiring, I might have to fix it (any insight please let me know)

I was told it worked when it was pulled out of a car about a month ago.

What antenna would be period correct to run with it and is there anything I need to do with the wiring?

Got this vintage ringer from a buddy. Won’t go in depth on logo but if you know you know. Was curious if anyone had a clue what era it was? I’m thinking 60s or 70s.
