hi so starting this off, i'm not butch. so if you guys want me to delete this i will.

BUT i wanted to ask if you guys would be willing to help me a tad. I've got a new girlfriend, she's butch and she's just great. Though I've never really interacted with butchfemme dynamics before past the awareness their political and gender identities rather than aesthetics like masc/fem. I'm looking and googling about things so do not worry I'm not expecting you all to hand me resources on a silver platter..

Though I was wondering if there's anything for relationships you all like really like or REALLY dislike? I'd hate to accidentally put her off because we click perfectly.

I've already made it clear she isn't like a man(she said she'd had issues with that b4) i mean we've discussed future plans due to our schooling we'd have to put off things like engagement or (mostly) marriage until we're both done with school(future dr and dr lmao). I even was the one to bring up the potentiality of us also having to figure out who'd be the one proposing. She said she'd be willing to so I didn't argue, but I think that sets the guideline she doesn't have to step into the traditional masculine roles if she doesn't want to. Especially if I continue with that type of ideal.

Idk I'm paranoid because the last girl I was going out with before her, she was also butch because ive accidentally found a type?? idk. and she usually was the one who walked me to my car, but she stopped doing that so I decided I was going to walk her to her car!! Amazing idea, go me. She immediately made a comment on it in the moment and then said we weren't going to work out. 😭(honestly good riddance. she was mean asf ANYWAYS but i digress)
so i want to be sure i do right this time because i don't want to do anything that could accidentally give off the wrong impression.
