Broke girl meal

If i go grocery shopping i just know I'll lose control and buy ton of shit i dont need and then end up throwing it- which isn't something I can afford rn.

So making use of what I have...2 pre packaged cold coffees + yogurt + a probably expired piece of bread.

I don't even have butter T_T

Looks like sunshine, tastes like dread...

A bowl of Kellogg's Krave cinnamon sugar churro. I had high hopes for this guy... First off, I remember Krave having atleast double the filling this did. I was hoping that the outside would be like the cinnamon toast crunch churros. Nope. This had no cinnamon sugar at all on the outside. The inside had a paltry amount of "chocolate " filling. This once again tasted like a semi-sweetened wholegrain based cardboard. The extra creamy whipped cream and Cotton Candy Alani helped though. I was hoping for county fair vibes.

𝒪𝒽 𝓉𝒶𝓀ℯ 𝓂ℯ 𝒷𝒶𝒸𝓀 𝓉ℴ 𝓉𝒽ℯ 𝓃𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓌ℯ 𝓂ℯ𝓉 🥀

Waking up craving childhood 2000’s nostalgic and trauma-healthy foods 🥲💔

Also not pictured…. Fiber ones (apparently niche) Muffin tops from the frozen food section. I have had IBS since childhood and these were life changing. Also healthy 🫡

And these Lunchables pizza wrap kits, they came in a clear one piece container and it was my #1 go to afterschool snack. I’d heat it in the microwave and devour the greasy, cheesey disaster like the little Adderall-infused chunky kid I was 😭

And the lean pockets? I used to stuff microwaved bacon and hot sauce in them and eat it with ranch. They discontinued them during the pandemic and I will never let it go.

USA Haul Compliation: [Kroger, Walmart, Target, Costco, Safeway, Grocery Outlet]

🍓INFO:🍓 I feel the need to express every post that my eating habits are unique due to my health GI/Gallbladder issues from my ED caused me to get surgery to have gallbladder yeeted. Personally, max fat per day is 30g and it varies person to person even with gallbladder issues. I tend to get severe gas pain unless I have mini meals so I can't >!fast or limit my eating window!< anymore and even normal meals can hurt, so mini meals it is. Please be kind, I’m trying!

✨️Onto The Post:✨️

A lot of you like my hauls so I take pictures with the intent to post them, but I sometimes get busy so I made this haul compliation so people can flip through them for inspiration despite me not posting them as they happened. Some things are staples, some things are new to me and already tried, and some things still sit in my cabinets, fridge or freezer. So feel free to ask for reviews, ask questions, give reccomendations, comment on your favorites, etc. I love keeping these posts super open ended for you all. 🫶🏻

These are my grocery trips that I take with my partner (and sometimes with my sister) mainly shopping what is on sale and what is on coupon. We rarely buy meat throughout the year because we only buy it a small number of times in large quanities and stock the freezer [we literally buy a quarter cow or a half cow, and shop deep discounts outside of that]. We grow lots of vegetables and my sister usually buys fruit on her own and insists I help her get through it before it goes bad. I say this because I am not a 24/7 junko but my hauls might make it seem that way. I also feel the need to repeat we shop sales and coupons to have wiggle room for drinks, protein bars, etc, in our budget. Yes, we get new flavors or new drinks in individual cans but we buy the majority of it in bulk packs and tend to focus on whatever Costco has on sale but not always.

I live in a HCOL area in Washington State so my prices tend to be higher than most (but not all) of the US, for those outside the states that ever oggle at the prices of things in my posts. 😅

Snack time!

Cheez It extra cheesy with Claussen pickles and On The Border salsa con queso to dip them in. I also dip my pickles in it. :)) Helados Mexico con crema coconut bar and A&W cream soda to sip on. I hope everyone is getting to enjoy their favorite foods, and they are helping your week go by that much easier. Night nite. 💤

Edit: forgot to add the $85 had more energy drinks and snacks for my sister and my partner. Next time Ill add up my portion. RIP
