So, I’ve got a hotas4. Didn’t have this issue in the beta, but I need my dual sense to use some of the features. But when I place it on my lap and reach for my HOTAs, it’s fighting with my dual sense motion controls. Help :)

I work in corporate video production. Mostly talking head type stuff. Since all of the content I work on has people in it, I’ve pretty much shot everything in 24fps and it’s fine.

I’m working on a project currently where it’s focusing on an institution and all the work that’s been done on campus. We followed two people around and have rough cut several videos where they are basically documenting their knowledge. Talking about specific paintings, or windows. We had dual coverage on them.

Now I’ve got a list of the shots I need to capture to use while they are talking to help break up the content. Wide shows off a building. A medium shot of the painting they are talking about, then some closer detail bits.

Now, I run canon C70s. I wasn’t giving it too much thought until today as I’m planning next week. I wondered, since this is detail work, should I be shooting in 60 to slow down in post and help with stability. Of just stick to 24.

I also might throw the r6 on a gimbal and grab some wider shots, but I really prefer to be handheld.

Thoughts welcome. Cheers.
