Sympathy for men and shame for women ??

Not hating on any gender here, this is just an observation from what I’ve seen over time. When male celebs cheat, the conversation usually becomes about their trauma, toxic relationship, mental health or “mistakes.” People compare situations, justify it and eventually move on.
But when a woman cheats, suddenly it becomes “this is how women are,” and somehow all women get dragged into it. The anger shifts from the individual to the entire gender way too fast. That double standard is hard to ignore. Cheating is unacceptable regardless of gender. Why is that not recognised? And to top it all, why are women always blamed when men get a slap on the wrist?

Ps: am not here for a gender war or shit , but the amount of content I’ve seen recently how even women are okay with this and just go on to shame the woman it’s honestly sad.

Reg applying to TU/e or i should just plan something diff?

Hi everyone, I’m an Indian ECE student planning to apply to TU/e for the 2028 intake. I know it’s still a bit early, but I’ll be applying around Oct 2027 during my 7th semester, so universities will only see my grades up to the 6th semester.

After my 1st year, I had a CGPA of 8.83. However, I transferred colleges and had a difficult time adapting academically, especially since I was required to take a different set of courses. Because of that, my CGPA dropped significantly and will likely be around 7.97–8.0 by the end of this year.

I believe I can recover to around 8.5 by graduation, but probably not by the time I apply. Since TU/e mentions an 8.5 requirement for Indian students, I wanted to ask would it still be worth applying with a strong upward trend, relevant projects/research, and a technically focused profile?
