how I would've named some of the Celeste techs
(some techs may stay the same if they already feel fine as is to me) (and the techs are in the order of the techs presented in the first video I found when I typed in "Celeste tech guide" on YouTube, so don't expect *all* of them lmao. Not that I've got *that* many names I can give, but still)
Wavedash → Air Dive.
Hyperdash → Crive (as in "crouch dive").
Unextended Hyperdash (as in the unextended one) → Crivejump.
Superdash → Dive. (Unextended Superdash is Divejump)
Wallbounce ← stays the same (I like the name that way already too much to change it), but if I *have* to, then to Dashkick.
Hyper Bunnyhop → Crivehop (original, I know).
Reverse tech → Counter tech.
Ultra → Dashboost.
Cornerboost → Dashclimb.
Cornerjump ← stays the same.
Cornerkick ← stays the same.
Neutral Walljump → Neutral wallclimb (I don't like the original name but I don't really have any alternatives, so this will do for now).
Re-grab ← stays the same (look, I ain't got that many of renames I can immediately think of).
Jellyvator ← can't change peak, no renaming required.
Holdable Climb → Holdclimb.
Dream Smuggling → Dream Carry (the original name is already great tho, so either way is fine for me).
Launchboost ← stays the same, as there's kinda nothing to change lmao.
TO NOTE: I'm NOT advocating for a name change for any of the techs, I'm just saying how *I* would've named them
Also, can anyone give me any more techs to try to give an alternative name for? I'm sure I've missed a bunch, but it's taking too long to make this post already, and I don't have much more time to just continue on and on and on.
Also also, is "Discussion" tag fine for this kinda thing?
