Zetsubou cage bug almost ended our EE run -- we managed to get it done regardless

In Zetsubou No Shima, you need to climb into a cage and be lowered down to collect a part, which is then used to upgrade the wonder weapon (KT-4 into Masamune). This glitch has been around since the launch of the map. The cage will be locked and you will not be able to get out with out downing yourself or leaving. I couldn't down myself because my friends and I all had Widow's Wine grenades.

I was not too pleased with leaving the game. I coached them on the last step of the Easter Egg before the boss fight and I left the game. I joined back and I begged Jason Blundell for his blessing (inside joke in my friend group). I got a perkaholic and the KT-4 from the mystery box on my first spin. I went to the upgrade room and was able to upgrade the KT-4.

We completed the Easter Egg 10 minutes later. Thank you Jason Blundell.

Found this mysterious box in one of the rooms???

Obvi ANON post because im fulltime at Async. We're mapping out some rooms and this one was interesting. I managed to access this box and it cycled through firearms from various decades of history. I will update my notes as I progress through the Complex.

Does anyone know what mod people use to have custom perk icons and custom PAP camos?

I've seen a lot of different icons and skins on youtube shorts. It looks cool

Rant: I am so annoyed by the lack of participation in classes

I am studying a teaching degree and this is annoying and scary. Is this next generation of Teachers doomed? For context, this has happened since I started in 2023 from subject to subject. I walk in and no one has seen the reading. We have to go through the monotonous recount of the reading which we were supposed to read before class. It was covered in the lecture. Surprise. No one else watched the lecture pod.

Some classes are one hour long, great, we're forty minutes in, we've only just reached the main point of the text.

The Teacher will ask a question and no one will respond. They will stare blankly and then return to a fixed gaze on their laptop. Is this who we're trusting to teach our children what they need to know? How can you expect the children to listen to you if you won't listen to your teacher?

It's such a drag that I am the one the Teacher turns to for a simple response to anything. Did you do the reading? Does anyone know what this might mean? Can anyone recall the keyword we used in week 2? The Teacher even goes as far as saying, "Someone answer before I default to -me-."

I understand. We all have Social Anxiety. We all think class is long and boring and monotonous and we wish we were anywhere else. YOU CAN CHANGE THAT - YOU CAN BE THE PERSON YOU WISH YOU WERE LISTENING TO - ENGAGE WITH THE TEXTS OR ANSWER QUESTIONS OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE CONVERSATION OR EVEN JUST ASK SOMEONE WHAT THEY DID ON THE WEEKEND - TALK!

University doesn't fix you - YOU fix YOU.

So here are some suggestions:

  1. ENGAGE WITH THE READING, and I don't mean read it, even I see the large block of text and go "fuck all that," but at least do the bare minimum of googling what the paper/text is about, figure out who the Author is and what they stand for. Have AI summarise it for you, which is dumb, but at least you've done the bare minimum of trying to understand the text.

  2. TALK, for the love of God, TALK! Not even to me. Don't talk to me. But please don't sit there like, omg if I turn my head they're gonna look me in the eye and I'll explode, THEY'RE THINKING THAT TOO. Are you lonely? Were you hoping you would get a girlfriend in Uni? Habibi, if you don't talk to them, they won't talk to you.

  3. IF YOU FIND THE FIRST TWO SUGGESTIONS CHALLENGING, CHECK OUT THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES. You can find the exact service through Student Services. Just walk on in and ask them for help. Western Sydney offers counselling and Study Help.

Three years ago, I didn't read or talk, now I do and I'm happy and content with life. I cannot wait for class and I cannot wait for it to end. Please, if not for yourself, do it for the children you might one day have to teach.

Terraria forces you to build a room for just this artwork 😤

Can't believe the game is forcing me to spend hundreds of hours just staring at this artwork 😤

Classes FULL on Allocate+

Hey, I've had some trouble scheduling my classes this semester, but I've narrowed it down to four subjects. However, it's an unfortunate mess that it's the Friday before start, and the two available classes for the subject at my chosen campus are FULL. I did click the heart for the waiting list, and I'm stressing a bit.

Would it be troubling if I showed up to the Tutorial in-person anyway on the day? I'm sure at least someone will drop out of the subject by Census date.

Is it worth working in a government school (secondary) as an SLSO?

Context: I live in Western Sydney. My current employment options are not ideal, they're some of the worst schools in Sydney. Birrong Boys. Wiley Park Girls. I have vivid memories of boys and girls bashing on from those two schools specifically. But yeah, I'm just coming into the industry as an SLSO, I have a year left on the degree and I'm keen on kicking it off.

I'm Tongan, and a lot of my Tutors have pushed me to hurry up and start working, because there's a lot kids that really need the extra push from a familiar face.

I guess the real point of this post is that I'm nervous I'll get confronted and bashed, but I wouldn't mind some friendly support from people already in the industry.

Won't somebody please think of my (hypothetical) girlfriend? 😭

The "Avid Commentator" has no chin btw. How does he fold his towels? Or does Emily (hypothetical) do it?

I'm looking for great Hotpot around the CBD or Western Sydney

I went to Hotpot overseas, absolutely loved it, remembered that there were a ton across Sydney and am surprised I've never eaten there before. I'm sure the hotspots will be Cabramatta or Burwood, I'm a frequenter of both.

I'm not so sure what Malatang is, but I'm keen to explore that to, (is it related to Hotpot?)

By Hotpot, I mean

- Food Train with Ingredients > Veggies, Noodles, etc.

- You order a Pot of Broth and Meat and you're sat at a stove top.

Price is no issue (nothing TOO crazy plz), but I am interested in "Quality," "Affordability," and just the "General Aesthetic" of the place.
