Best shampoo/conditioner for oily/greasy and thick hair!

I have type 1 hair, thick and gets oily quickly!
I want to grow my hair out but also have it be as healthy as possible.
Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair type?
The options I’m getting on Google are:
- Redken extreme length
- Pantene volume
- Elvive Hyaluron & Pure
- CeraVe Oil Control

Are these good options or are there better ones out there?

Best laptop for sims4?

What laptop would be the best to run sims4?
I don’t really intend on adding a lot of mods or add-ons/cc to it, like maybe just a few mods and a few different add-ons/cc?
I don’t really need anything fancy, just something that won’t crash mid-game before I’ve had a change to save it lol.
Someone I knew who I used to play Sims4 with on their laptop had, I believe, an acer? I don’t know the specific kind, and it ran fairly well considering how old it was and how many mods/cc were added onto it.
I don’t really need THAT laptop, but at least something that runs fairly similar?
Thank you so much!!

Additionally: first comment mentioned talking about price range. $600 and under is ideal, but I’m willing to consider anything up to (at the maximum) of $1000

What do I expect with nexplanon?

Hey!
I’m scheduled to get my nexplanon in about 2 months, and while I’ve done some research into it, a lot of side effects are also individual to the person, and not always listed in the online base warnings.

I know it helps with preventing pregnancy and regulating hormones for up to 5 years and that it’s over 99% effective. I have a history of headaches/migraines as well as a history of severe depression, which are two “get this cleared by your doctor” symptoms. My doctor cleared me for receiving the implant, I just suppose I’ve been nervous about the idea of the implant for so long due to the people I’ve known who’ve gotten it.
While some had very positive experiences with it after the body’s adjustment period, I am very anxious about the active adjustment period.

I’m curious on what everyone’s experiences were on this subreddit? Is the adjustment period really that bad (and is it that common?)
What are the most common things that you’ve all experienced during and after the adjustment period?

Lastly, if anyone on this subreddit also has adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, and/or endometriosis, I REALLY want to know your experiences and if getting the implant actually helped you or made things worse?
Thank you all so much, I apologize that most of this is most likely really big anxiety.

I HATE small butterfly needles with IV’s at the best of times (fear of needles) and the thought of having that entire huge thing shoved into my arm is genuinely a really hard thing to come to terms with. What if the doctor does it wrong? What happens if they do? How quickly will I know if they’ve done it wrong? I’ll stop bombarding you all with nonstop questions about it, I suppose I want to be as prepared as possible. 🫡

Help finding good type 1 hair care!

Hi! I have Type 1 hair, and it’s really thick and gets oily really quickly/easily. I recently found out, due to a previous post on this subreddit that I made, that some of my issue might be due to the type of shower products that I use, all of which is sulfate free. I also wanted to start taking better care of my hair day-to-day, rather than just in the shower, because I also wanted to grow my hair out and for it to be as healthy as possible, so help on these topics would be absolutely amazing!:

  1. Best shampoo & conditioner (doesn’t have to be the same brand if what’s best varies)

  2. Best hair growth techniques (I already use rice water and rosemary oil before showers)

  3. Best pillow case/fabrics for thick & oily type 1 hair

  4. Any additional tips & tricks that you might think of to let me know! As I was never taught proper hair care (for any hair type, for that matter), so if there’s any question I’m missing, I’d love to know anything and everything I can!

Thank you all so much!!

I need help finding laptop pc recommendations

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:
Up to $600 USD (preferably cheaper if possible)

Are you open to refurbs/used?
yes! But new is preferred.

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?
Unsure, Good to great quality, good to great performance, not *too* picky on battery life although I’d prefer it not die after 1 hour

How important is weight and thinness to you?
Not important!

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.
N/A

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.
Gaming! Sims4 and Minecraft are my main focuses!

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?
Sims4 and Minecraft are my main gaming goals, although it’d be nice to also play Animal Jam, Subnautica, and Avatar Frontiers of Pandora (but I know that limits laptop possibilities and also requires much more expensive setups). As for settings/FPS, I’m clueless, I’ve never owned a laptop beyond a Google Chromebook.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
Reliable build quality, preferably a good keyboard/mousepad (but I’ll most likely be getting a mouse separately, just in case) & durable (if possible, not 100% necessary, I’m just trying to compensate for my occasional clumsiness)

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.
I’m looking for a laptop setup rather than the full-on computer pc system situation. I don’t have, and will not have the finances for anything over $1,000 (however my preference remains to be having the goal of $600, I just know that in some situations, that’s not realistic, so I’m also okay to have some leeway and consider something that costs more). Finances aside, I also just don’t have the space in my home to fit a desk and entire pc system.
