Upgraded my sons jeep to run on DeWalt batteries but stay at 12v
It works really well!
🔋 MgcSTEM DeWalt adapter - perfect to protect the battery from going too low voltage
⚡️ 15a 12v voltage regulator - which does have a low voltage cut off but its a little low for my liking
💥 Fuse between the two to lock the magic smoke away
🔥 The OEM 15amp circuit breaker
All connected using heat shrink butt connectors.
Under voltage protection for Dewalt
I’m currently upgrading my son’s 12V Jeep to run on Dewalt batteries. I’m going keep everything 12V, just because it’s easier. However, I’m conscious that I do not have any under voltage protection. I’ve seen a lot of people use the XH-M609 boards, but I could do with recommendations for a robust relay and any wiring diagrams.
Picture for attention, but I have swapped this out for a 20A 12v regulator as I realised 10A wouldn’t be the best option.
