hi, i need a place to stay and quickly while i save up for a room or anything small. i live in Brooklyn i have a few things but plan to pack lightly. i could use any ideas i’m considering spaces like ali forney, they take walkins and i could talk to a case worker. i have a few friends i may ask to spend a night or so//use their showers. I dont want to be a burden though... Part of me is really scared i’ve just never been on my own before like this. wish me luck

i take the civil service exam next month. i was curious what the process looks like following this?

My family is carribean, My nan was the glue but she can’t work anymore. She’s forgetting things and my aunt’s been taking advantage. I (21M) Dont have any standing at the moment. I just feel so alone, she’s taking the house moving my grandma. I wish I had my mom or just anyone but Nan has been my whole world. I’m going to become a cop and make her proud. I just feel so heartbroken. My family used to be so close and now i feel so hopeless and alone.
