32 year old son update

Today he turns 33!! He is still doing very well. He is working , rehabbing houses with his cousin for now. Cousin has said he is not to be on a roof or ladder over 8 ft, so there is that. He will get stuck on finding a word now and then still but he can not tell when he is full from eating, and he can put a pizza down all by himself. He had been doing red light therapy but I don't know if he is still. I have been working 12 hours 6 days a week so my communication has been somewhat limited, I work and sleep and thats about it. I am so very thankful he is still with us and doing well considering the epideral and subdermal hematoma.

32 yr old Son Update

He is still improving but its slower . His short term is getting better but some days its a bit off. Sort of the wax and waning as when he was first injured. He is still not working officially but doing side jobs. He has a job waiting for him though. He has been working on engines, building a deck and many other things around his place plus construction outside of home. He can't tell when he is hungry or when he has ate enough to be full. So that is new. He will still get stuck on a word now and then but he usually gets it after thinking on it. That is all for now. I pray for you all who are dealing with TBI . Don't give up just give yourself or your loved one some time and grace.

New to me. Wondering if the Westmoreland can be made into oil.

I stopped bidding on a full size Westmoreland when my son was injured. So here's this one for now.

32 yr old son update

He is still doing well and recovering. He has been released from OT,PT and Speech therapy this week. He is still waiting to hear about his collar bone if healed. If so he may be cleared to return to work, possibly new job, his old job let him go a day after his 8 year date. He married his fiance on Memorial Day after a 3 year engagement and we are getting ready for the reception party in 2 weeks. He still has some words he gets stuck on and thinks some things out a bit slower than he use to but he is wrenching on things again. Little shithead bought a motorcycle too. Not thrilled with that but dealing with it. Wear a damn helmet kid! Mom still worried and Dad was livid over the bike and we both owned our own . My BP still up at levels as March but not needing meds yet. Thank goodness for the occasional glass of whiskey at this point.

32 ur old son update

He is doing well. He doesn't need to be monitored all day .He can drive himself to therapy and has started to do red light therapy. His cognitive is getting better but still improving. He has been let go from his job but they want him back. He's not to work for a year, fish on a boat or do anything that requires a helmet. His head still swells some. He is soon to marry! Memorial Day then a cookout a week later. That is all for now. Wish you all well. Hugs from one still tired Mom.
