Mattel really nailed it with this line, I feel they have best face sculpts even compared with many Disney collector dolls
I actually love her factory face paint but just wanted to give her makeup suits this outfit better 🧜♀️
I felt Zuru dolls are having slight face sculpt difference, one have smaller pointer nose and one have larger nose w/ thicker lips, don’t know if that’s just illusion
happy my current progress, and definitely got a little better rerooting them, they are just perfect size for fairy customs!
Just got the tiny dolls last night and can’t wait to try…I do feel Saran would be a better choice for these tiny dolls since the fiber are thinner and much softer than the original nylon hair
Although it could be tricky to rerooting them since I can’t glue them inside without causing some damage to open the doll head (head joint in the last pic, I had to glue the hairline a little bit as there was too much hair there the fiber could easily fall out
Also just in case anyone wants to repaint zuru minnee dolls, their face paint are extremely hard to remove, I ended up using a sanding sponge, AND their heads are made by some type of material that can be decomposed by pure acetone, they are not regular doll head vinyl for sure…
Haven’t seen many pictures of this one online so maybe someone would like to see…
Also some side by side comparisons with some of my tiny dolls, which are a 12 cm custom bjd and Disney store 6”Rapunzel doll on Azone Picconeemo(1/12) body, they are, by far the tiniest mechanical jointed fashion dolls I have ever seen, and definitely, good for the price (considering there are many really tiny custom bjds here since we have 3d printing)
I might not buy more of these since I do hate the AI usage, or buy second hand ones in the future I guess?
