Hi again everyone! Meet Ori, tidekeeper mermaid. Pasha's twin( recent post )
Her lore:
While Pasha disappeared beneath the flames to save the fairy, Ori remained above the waters — her voice trembling as she called the tides to obey. The sea turned violent around her, waves rising like walls to shield her sister from the burning wreckage.
Every crashing current, every storm tide, was hers to command. She pulled the flames away from the water long enough for Pasha to escape… but the ocean demanded balance in return.
That night, the tides never fully calmed again.
Since then, Ori became known as the Tidekeeper — the mermaid who carries the sea’s unrest within her heart. Some say the waves grow stronger with her emotions, and storms appear whenever she fears losing Pasha again.
Heyyaa everyone this is Pasha, Savior of the tides. I have been creating her for almost two weeks together with her twin Ori (will later be posted) And finally, they are both done!
Her Lore: When a ship caught flames above the waves, Among the wreckage, a tiny fairy fell from the burning deck, her wings too singed to fly. While the others swam away from the heat, Pasha dove straight into it.
She managed to carry the fairy safely beneath the waves with the help of her glowing hair… but not without leaving a piece of that night behind.
The patch on her face hides the burn she got from the rescue... a mark she keeps not out of shame, but as a reminder that kindness can hurt, and still be worth it.
This is the 5th doll of my Vampire Series
I am very new to the tradition doll customizing stuff, in the past I’ve mainly just sculpted on top of dolls using them as a base but I wanted to try something new.
I don’t have a lot of money to buy doll hair but I do have a crap ton of yarn. I’m planning on making a doll of one of my ocs and now I’m wondering how I’d go about making textured hair to root.
Some dolls I’ve painted and rerooted
When your almost 4 year old keeps shoving mini babies up the Barbies' shirts and your tired of waiting for the pregnant my mini baby mama doll to come out.. You make your own lol... It's removable and yes there's a baby in there! This is my rough prototype but I'm still thrilled with how it turned out! The head was one of my first repaints and reroots i just threw on the body so she wasn't headless
I'm making a half and half doll, and have finished her eyelids. I'm thinking of doing simple dots with black pupils. But I might do white? Tips, this is my first repaint.
Would you like to have such a doll in your collection?
My Inst : @llenoblythe
It's 22 cm. This is my first time using polymer clay (for the shoes), and it's terrible, I know. But next time it will be better. Any tips on working with polymer clay, please?
I have an old monster high freaky fusions doll that's missing half her stuff, wings, and her hair is a mess. I was thinking of stripping everything down to just the model and using it to make a doll that looks like the image (by starrcats on insta)
I don't know where to start tbh. Or if I even should. Any insight or tips are welcome, I'm a blank canvas.
I’ve never made a doll but I got a mini brands baby. It’s solid silicone so any tips would be appreciated.
I did some "plastic surgery" to slim down the chin and the lower lip in addition to the face-up! And the face-up itself isn't yet finished, and the hair needs a touch-up. Still, I think it already looks great.
Hello:-) this is my second repaint.
Some of the outfit is her original one I just added a few things hehe.
Finally got to finishing my newest doll and first of the season :)
I’ve been fascinated by the concept of decomposition for a little while and thought it would be fun to imagine that the goddess of decomposition might look like
Last photo is my concept art for her, heavily inspired by the silent from slay the spire (heavily hyper fixated hehe). I changed her cloak to a veil instead because I thought it looked better, was easier, and gave her a more godly feel rather than rogue-y.
Her base is a g3 MH spectra
my base sketch was good and i was excited but when i add the watercolour pencils it just gets messy and blobby do you think it’s worth trying again with acrylic paint 3rd times a charm right lol
Why do my needles keep bending? And idk where to go from here. Do I do the middle and spread out? thank you.
