Negative connotations relating to the name Mila

Hey guys it’s been a long road for us trying to find a name for our baby girl. I’ve finally found a name that we mostly all agree with. Just wondering if there are any negative connotations, meanings in a different language or associations relating to this name that anyone can think of?

Spanish speakers - thoughts on the name Mira

Considering calling my baby girl Mira (pronounced “Meera”) but I’ve been told it means “look” in Spanish. Just wondering for those that speak Spanish is the name Mira weird? Do you see it as a name or just a verb?

Iyla or Ayla

For the name “eye-la” where you don’t want to use the spelling Isla, which is better? Iyla or Ayla.
Also I’m worried Iyla would look like Lyla to some people when reading it. What do you guys read when you look at the name Iyla? For context we live in Australia.

English/Middle Eastern name recommendations

Hey guys just wondering if you have any good baby girl name recommendations that work well both in English and in middle eastern countries. I’m really lost and don’t know what to go for, I had some ideas for names but I can’t seem to decide so I’m just opening this up to see whether anyone’s got some great name ideas to help us out.

Mira, Lena, Ayla/Iyla or Faye

Hey everyone, really need help with picking a name for my little one. She is 5 weeks old and we still haven’t decided on a name despite daily discussions. We are down to the above names.
For context our background is Arabic but we live in australia so would love a nice easy name in English. Those names above are my favourites but I’m open to suggestions. Btw Ayla/Iyla pronounced “eye-la”, not sure what spelling to go for if I were to pick that name. The common version Isla will not be pronounced correctly but some people in the Arab community so it’s not an option.
