How long after starting omeprazole for silent reflux (no spitting) did you see improvement?

For silent reflux in newborn how long did it take to relieve the discomfort ?!

My second baby has cmpa and silent reflux. We have gotten into the GI and got in neocate this week and have tried gel mix / Pepcid. The silent reflux isn’t getting better so I’m assuming omeprazole is next for us. My question is since my baby is having issues pooping and not going enough is this causing the reflux? gi wants to be sure so waiting a few more days to prescribe it.

Did Pepcid work for your baby? Just got prescribed this 1 x a day .3 ml for my 8 lb baby

How many oz is your 1-2 week old eating

Anyone’s newborn take forever on these bottles? Tried all the sizes too.

My 37 weeker ( c section / mag drip) girl is 10 days old and since been struggling to finish a feed within 30 min. She was born 7.10 and dropped 6.15 and now 7.3 lbs. She doesn’t ever really seem too interested to eat and falls asleep on the bottle. We have tried a ton of flows and nipples but it didn’t change anything. I usually get her to do 1-2.5 oz every 3 hrs.

She does kinda seem gassy and a bit silent reflux but nothing compared to my first boy lol.

Advice?!
