I bought $2000 of Apple Gift Cards from the Qantas Marketplace during their last 10 points per dollar deal.

On my Amex statement I earnt 2500 points for the purchase, but I can also see 1960 bonus points.

My Qantas Ultimate card gives me 1.25 points per dollar, so the 2500 makes sense. It gives me 2.25 points per dollar for Qantas purchases, but I thought that was limited to flights. The T&Cs are pretty clear that it's limited to flights.

What is your experience buying things on Qantas Marketplace with the Ultimate card? 1.25 or 2.25?

If it's reliably 2.25 that's quite a good hack, I'll buy all my gift cards from there!
