A few months ago I posted a mid build pic of the boat I have been building. Over the summer I painted it. All graphics are paint/no stickers. All lines are hand laid. I did have someone clearcoat it though. I just have to install the interior of the cockpit which includes the dashboard and driver.
Primer is mostly on. It actually highlighted a few defects and small areas that needed filling with spot putty. Should be able to start the basecoat in the next few days. Working with the spraymax 2k primer was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
I was watching video on how to apply AutoBorne Automotive Sealer paint and the guy was using an airbrush with a much larger paint cup attached to the airbrush. I have a GSI Creos PS-290 and would love to have the larger cup. For the life of me I can't seem to find what the guy is using and not sure what else might work as well. I have a Cameo 4+ and will be creating some paint masks for airbrushing using Avery Dennison sf100 Paint Mask. Does anyone have experience with and baseline settings for this material?
May start primering the fiberglass parts this weekend. Picked up a silhouette cameo 4+ to start creating airbrush stencils.
I have this 70s? Regulated power supply. I can't find anything related to JDP. Anyone know this brand?
