B2601 with BH70 OPC Switch

OPC has the white lever (circled) under seat. When I raise the seat up to turn, and white lever is up completely, the 10A fuse blows. Is the OPC bad?

Well, I snapped the ears off of my cabin air filter cover. Is it OK to just hold the cover in place with duct tape or should I spend the $30 for a new cover?

After removing the screws, it was still so tight that the ears snapped upon removal. Bummer.
