Im working on a sleeper pc build. I wanna add a rgb strip but have it only turn on when i take off the lid. I was wondering how these intrusion switches work, mainly which wire is input and which one is output, and if the connection is completed when the switch is pushed in or released. Im planning to spice the power wire of the rgb strip into the the switch and then feed the output back into the strip so when the chassis is open, the connection will be complete and the lights will turn on. Im also looking for other suggestions that will get the same effect but im thinking these chassis intrusion switches will be my best option.
