What the title says. I’m an upcoming biochem honours student so this course is a requirement for me in my 4th year, but I’m a bit confused. How does it work exactly? Will I have to contact professors myself to ask if I can conduct research in their labs? What does the written report include—like is it a dissertation-style thesis/essay or what?
I‘m an incoming first year. So I happened to check Star Rez today and went to the housing application where I saw that I’ve received a room offer, but I haven’t gotten an email with my room offer letter yet. I’m just concerned that I don’t know when I received my offer so I don’t how long I have to pay the 500 dollar deposit before the 2-week payment window closes. Anyone else in the same boat? Is this common?
My question is in the title. Just wondering because I was looking at possible useful/recommended/related electives to take in later years. Also, what are the most common ones (besides more chem)?
I'll be starting uni in September as an international student. I did A-Levels (British curriculum) in bio, chem and maths, so I've received credit for BIOL 107, CHEM 101 and CHEM 261. I'm registering for courses now and would love advise on how my fall term schedule is looking. Is it manageable or too much? Note that my chem labs would be biweekly, not weekly.
