Shield Plus vs Bodyguard 2.0 for summer/athletic carry — does the Plus actually conceal well enough in shorts?

I carry a Glock 45 with a light and red dot as my daily gun and love it, but during summer when I’m wearing shorts, hiking, biking, workouts — it’s just too much gun to carry comfortably. I want something smaller for those specific times. I’m leaning toward the Shield Plus since I want to stay in 9mm but I keep going back and forth on whether it’s actually small and light enough to disappear under shorts and stay comfortable during real movement, or if I should just go with the Bodyguard 2.0 (.380) instead and accept the trade-off for a gun that’s unquestionably built for this. For carry I’m considering a belly band, a beltless clip-on belt, a low-profile gun belt worn under shorts with a standard IWB holster, or the PHLster Enigma if it’s worth the extra cost. If you carry a Shield Plus (or similar) during hiking, running, or biking — does it actually print or bother you once you’re moving, or does a good holster setup make it a non-issue? And for anyone who’s owned both a Shield Plus and a Bodyguard 2.0, did you end up actually using the smaller gun for this kind of activity, or did the bigger 9mm work fine and the small one just sat in a drawer? Trying to avoid buying something redundant with what I already carry. Thanks
