Update on mystery cubaris murina: allegedly still considered a glacier morph!

Or, at least, the one i zoomed in on is. Someone replied last post saying that they have to have white eyes to be considered a glacier, and they do! or, at least the one I zoomed in on did. For sale I think the safest bet is to just label them as cubaris murina, but for the sake of nitty gritty ID, their eyes are still white! the rest of them…. not so much!

Cubaris murina, glacier or papaya or neither?

this is a sample of my cubaris murina glacier colony, which is about 2 years old at this point. I’ve kind of let them do what they want, but we’ve gotten to a point of overpopulation, and I want to start selling them locally.

My main problem is, should I label them glacier, papaya, or something else? In the two years they’ve become more beige than white, likely due to diet (lately it’s been some strawberries) so I feel like calling them glacier is misleading, even though that’s what they were purchased as initially. What would you label them as? Cubaris murina beige?

Summer Jellies at Nordstrom 5/12/26

Sorry for the terrible pictures! Saw this while I was running in between meetings at the flagship Nordstrom on 59th in NYC. I didn’t have time to stop or purchase any but they had a huge selection!

$10 Marketplace find- any info on it?

Just picked this up for $10 on FB marketplace! It’s absolutely beautiful, heavy, and very well made. I’m not sure if it’s aventurine or jade, and I hoped the flower was coral, but it’s absolutely plastic! I only found one kind of similar match with reverse image search, so I’m looking for any info on date/country of origin, meaning, and value! Regardless, I’m just happy to show it off 💚

I had been looking forward to showing my collection off on this sub for so long, and this is not how I wanted to do it. My new rescue kitten contracted ringworm at the clinic where I had her spayed. All soft items, linens, bedding, clothes, and plush have to be thoroughly washed or disposed of. We’ve thrown out our rugs and cat furniture.

I don’t have any clue how to decontaminate my plush other than this. I’m just dousing everyone in hypochlorous acid and hanging them in the sun. Allegedly both things kill tinea but I’m terrified. Most jellies still have paper tags attached, and I also collect antique plush, and they obviously can’t be washed. It’s a nightmare.

There’s no point to this post other than to vent about the situation. if anyone has dealt with ringworm and plush collecting before and has some advice, please do share. I’ve got a lot of laundry ahead of me :(
