Was told that SMs cannot help on the floor. So if you have a skeleton crew and you are struggling, you're not going to help with ic3s and photo and totes? the company doesn't give us enough hours to bring in more man power yet they expect everything to get done in 1 day but tell the sms to not do salesfloor work. and what happens when the customers complain about slow service, the sm is not gonna help? or only if the complaint reaches the dm? this company is run by people who never worked retail a day in their life.

My sm keeps "forgetting" to schedule a csa and ends up making the sfl do register and totes. this happens almost every week. and when he does schedule a csa, they're either late or call out last minute and my sm doesn't let us know, and they play dumb and act like they don't know who was supposed to come in then will complain that there's so much work to be done, but won't help with ic3s or totes

Positions don't matter anymore and whoever works on that day has to do somebody else's job just to make up for the terrible budget for the terrible scheduling, and still - nobody gets a raise

he refuses to teach the older employees photo. he refuses to teach them to print simple pictures or to take passport pictures. how are they getting paid the same as every other salesfloor person (csa or sfl) but they get away with not doing whats required from them? i dont wanna hear the excuse about them being old either. i work with a lot of old folks that know how to use the computer in photo just fine and ones that take passport pictures w. no issue. its all about teaching them

Stop having kids if you're just gonna bitch and moan about them acting like kids lmao. Life is hard by default and you chose to make it harder by putting another human being in your life. Don't blame your kids because you chose to put them here. And I'm not saying this to be mean. I see a lot of parents being abusive to their children yet they keep having more kids and complaining about them being too expensive to take care of or them being hard to deal with. They're kids, they don't know as much as you so of course it's stressful. Have kids if you really want to, but if you don't want to deal with the stress, then stop having em.

our machine coming this week. fml. cant wait for the big vending machine to get stuck when people put money in it and have to open it up constantly and all the register shortages from all the unsold mistake tickets that we will print from the lotto computer at the register.

He doesn't pick up his own garbage. Pages people to throw his shit away. Stands near the kiosk and photo but when someone has a question about how to use the kiosk or needs a picture taken he calls someone else from far away but he's standing right there.. Then has no cashiers in his shift and he's near the register but pages the sfl or csa whos in the last aisle unlocking medicine for a customer to take care of the customer waiting at the register when he (the sm) is right fucking there... I understand that the e learnings say SM shouldn't do what associates do but when you have almost nobody, common sense would tell you to put your ego to the side and help your employees so you don't get complaints about slow service 🙄. Same thing when we have totes to do. He has nobody who's available to work that shift and complains that theres a lot of work to be done but refuses to put his foot down and help. He doesn't want to watch the front, and doesn't want to do totes, so what the hell does he expect? He doesn't even want to help out in pharmacy to at least do the ic3s but then asks people from the front who don't even have a tech license to go back there. it's so ridiculous.

he wants to make everyone shift lead then complains why the budget is the way it is lmaooooooo. and he literally waits until they are 18 so he can promote them but doesnt train people to properly close registers and doesnt teach everyone how to do photo then gets mad that theres too many mistakes. and all of them are siblings and end up taking vacation at the same time (which is understandable) but then he gets mad about it 😂.

the way they belittle them because they're younger upsets me. the fact that a lot of these older adults always think that they're right when giving these kids advice. and i feel like adults are worse than kids sometimes. because kids don't know any better than adults, it's expected for them to fuck up. but we have adults who have been taught more that still choose to make stupid decisions over and over again, can't even consider them mistakes anymore. the older i get the more i realize that we're part of the problem
