GuliKit TT Max owners: how good is the gyro really? ⭐

I’m looking for some real-world feedback on the GuliKit TT Max, specifically the gyro.
I already own and regularly use several controllers with gyro (DualSense, Flydigi Vader 5 Pro, Steam Controller, etc.), so I’m not new to gyro aiming. I’m considering picking up the TT Max, but gyro performance is my biggest concern.
For those who have actually used it:
How does the gyro feel compared to DualSense or Flydigi?
Is it smooth and responsive, or does it feel floaty/jittery?
Any noticeable latency?
How well does it work with Steam Input using Gyro to Mouse?
Any issues with drift, filtering, or tracking?
I’d really appreciate feedback from people who have spent some time using it rather than just first impressions.
Thanks!

Hot Take: The Battery Isn’t the Real Problem

I honestly don’t understand why so many people are surprised when the battery starts degrading after several months. The RingConn has a tiny battery packed into a very small device. There are physical limitations that no company can completely overcome.

Before buying any product, you should understand both its strengths and its limitations. If battery longevity is your top priority, maybe a smart ring isn’t the right product for you.
That’s also why RingConn offers a warranty, and in some regions you can even purchase an extended warranty. Depending on where you live, you could end up receiving multiple replacement rings over a couple of years if the battery fails.

Every device has trade-offs. For me, the size, comfort, and features of the ring outweigh the fact that the battery won’t last forever. Expecting a battery this small to perform like the one in a smartwatch or phone just isn’t realistic.

[Discussion] New Era: Gyro + Trackpad Config Sharing Thread

Hello everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to thank this community.

I’ve always been impressed by how quickly and effectively you provide answers and support whenever I’ve needed help.

I feel like we are entering a new era of control customization. Moving beyond the traditional "Gyro + Right Joystick" setup, more of us are embracing the "Gyro + Trackpad" combination, and it’s a total game-changer.

To help everyone get up to speed, I’d like to open this thread specifically for sharing our Gyro + Trackpad configurations.

The goal is to create a hub where we can trade setups along with the specific games they work best for.

My hope is that this will make it much less frustrating and way faster for newcomers to find a config that suits them, rather than having to build one from scratch.

Please feel free to share your setups below! Let's help each other optimize our playstyles.

The Ultimate Gyro Aim Showdown: Steam Controller (2026) vs PS5 DualSense (Tape Mod). What’s the consensus for FPS?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to optimize my gyro aiming setup for fast-paced shooters like Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, and other competitive FPS games through Steam Input.

I want to open up a discussion and get the community's take on the two biggest contenders right now.

I’m basically trying to compare these specific setups:

PS5 DualSense (with the Conductive Tape Mod) running either wired or on a high-end Bluetooth connection (Class 1 / BT 5.4 with external antennas for that high polling rate).

The New Steam Controller (2026) running exclusively on its native 2.4GHz dongle.

I actually own all these controllers and have been testing them, but I've noticed something very specific about my grip. I have smaller hands, so how I hold the controller and where my thumb rests matters a massive amount for my overall stability. Whenever I use the Steam Controller and rest my thumb on the right stick for gyro activation, I feel like I just don't have the same level of fine control as I do when my thumb is resting flat on a touchpad.
If you are sweating it out in BF6, CoD, or similar games right now, which setup do you consider the absolute king? Does the raw precision of a tape-modded DualSense beat the native features of the SC on its dongle? How do you guys manage your grip for the best stability?

Would love to hear your experiences and what you consider the most viable setup!

Gen 2 Air vs Gen 3: Is a €200 price jump worth it for a secondary home/sleep tracker? (EU based)

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to decide between the RingConn Gen 2 Air and the Gen 3. In my region, the price difference between them is quite steep—around €200 / 1000 RON (Gen 2 Air is on sale/cheaper, while Gen 3 is at full retail price).
Here is my use case and what I've factored in so far:
My Setup: I already own an Apple Watch Ultra 2, which is my primary health tracker and daily driver. However, the Ultra 2 is too bulky and heavy for lounging at home or sleeping. I want a smart ring strictly as a "leisure tracker"—something lightweight to put on when I get home and to track my sleep, seamlessly syncing data back to Apple Health.
The Battery Reality: I've read the forum threads and I fully understand the physics of tiny smart ring batteries. I accept that battery degradation is "baked into the price" and that after 12-18 months, any ring might drop to a 3-4 day battery life. I’m okay with that reality.
The Vibration Feature: I know Gen 3 introduces vibration. To be honest, I only care about vibrations if they can act as a low-battery alert so the ring doesn't die mid-sleep. I don't need any wellness or sedentarism buzzes since my Apple Watch handles that during the day, and I want peace and quiet when I'm at home.
EU Consumer Protection: I am based in Europe. This means I automatically get a mandatory 2-year legal warranty on electronics.
Given that I have a 2-year safety net by law, does it make any sense to pay a €200 premium for the Gen 3? Is the extra thickness of the Gen 3 noticeable compared to the Gen 2 Air for pure sleep comfort? Do you think the extra insurance/Care+ plans are even worth looking into if I'm already protected by EU laws?
Would love to hear from anyone who has used both or made a similar choice recently. Thanks!
