Kıştöt - my new vertical script

I**’m still testing it out and its a work in progress. However, here’**s a sample text in Kıştöt. Please leave me opinions on how to improve it.

Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ Discord Server

I’m currently developing a conlang (Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀) and I would like to make it a fully functional conlang and have people speak it. I’d also like to have a few dialects that developed from the original tongue.
Here is a short description about Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀:
Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ /xentra/ has 26 letters, 19 consonants, 5 vowels and two diphthongs.
Consonants : Ⲃ /v/, Ⲅ /ɣ/, Ⲇ /d/, Ⲍ /z/, Ⲑ /θ/, Ⲕ /k/, Ϩ /h/, Ⲗ /l/, Ⲙ /m/, Ⲛ /n/, Ⲝ /ks/, Ⲡ /p/, Ⲣ /r/, Ⲥ /s/, Ⲧ /t/, Ⲫ /f/, Ⲭ /x/, Ϣ /ʃ/, Ϥ /ð/.
Vowels : Ⲁ /a/, Ⲉ /e/, Ⲓ /i/, Ⲟ /o/, Ⲩ /u/.
Diphthongs : Ⲏ /aɪ/, Ⲱ /aʊ/.
Even tho Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ has no letters for /b/, /g/, /ʒ/, /t͡s/ and /t͡ʃ/, we can use two-letter combinations : ⲙⲡ /b/, ⲅⲅ /g/, ⲇⲍ̀ /ʒ/, ⲧⲥ̀ /t͡s/, ⲧϣ̀ /t͡ʃ/. There are also 3 more two-letter combinations used in Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ : ⲁⲓ (ⲉ) /e/, ⲉⲓ (ⲓ) /i/, ⲟⲓ (ⲓ) /i/.
Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ follows a VSO (verb-subject-object) word order, has 3 grammatical genders, and has more interesting features such as the inclusive and exclusive “we”.

Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀

Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ /xentra/ is an ancient-inspired conlang written in the Coptic script, blending old root-based morphology with melodic phonology. Its structure is built on a historical core of short consonantal roots, expanded through layered derivation and natural sound evolution, giving it the feel of a language shaped over centuries rather than invented all at once.

Grammatically, Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ follows a primarily** verb–subject–object (VSO**) order. It distinguishes singular and plural forms, and preserves subtle contrasts such as inclusive and exclusive “we.” Adjectives follow nouns and common verbs often carry irregular forms, reflecting their age and frequency.

Phonetically, Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ is designed to sound smooth, deep, and rhythmic, favoring open syllables and resonant consonants. Its vocabulary draws heavily from recurring root patterns, creating internal consistency and a recognizable identity. The language carries a strong aesthetic of antiquity, mysticism, and ritual, making it well-suited for poetry, storytelling, and ceremonial speech.

More than a conlang, Ⲭⲉⲛⲧⲣⲁ̀ is meant to feel like a living language with history: a system of speech shaped by culture, memory, and tradition, where even simple greetings carry symbolic meaning and every word feels tied to something older.
