is mapua's chem eng a good program?

hi! i've been lurking around this subreddit for a while but i just want to ask some more questions about mapua's chem eng. i don't really see a lot of more recent posts po kasi huhu. to preface, mapua is my initial first choice but im second guessing because of the negative remarks ive heard. my other option naman po is adamson.

  1. i heard that che's labs and equipment are really outdated. how much does this hinder the learning ng che? is it a huge con? (this is smth i rly want to consider dahil adu has one of the biggest chem labs)

  2. does mapua's che still prepare students well for their careers despite criticism about outdated facilities and systems?

  3. the quality of education specific to che: is it still okay/good despite the recent posts about the deteriorating quality of educ?

  4. is the teaching quality consistent or very hit-or-miss? are there still strong che profs in mapua? (i heard po a lot moved to dlsu) are they approachable, nice, or considerate?

and for those in che for a while na: would you still choose mapua's che knowing what you know now?

tysm for anyone that answers huhu. it'll really help with the anxieties i have about school :)

hello! i know both of these schools are known for their chemical engineering. i passed both cets so now im stuck between the two po. i wanna know po sana anong pros and cons of each school (wag lang po sana ung vague comments na "wag" lang hehe).

para sa akin naman po, i don't mind the quarterm ng mapua because galing naman po ako sa trisem sa shs and parang mas nagustuhan ko yung less subjects/more terms. nakakatakot lang din kasi lahat ng sinasabi about mapua inclu admin, staff, system. as for adamson, i heard sobrang hirap din because very overloaded ang units per term.

both schools are accredited which is a good bonus.

i heard naman po maganda ang community sa adamson while the chem eng professors in mapua are great too.

about the board exam passing rate, i saw na ang baba na ng rate ng mapua which is one of my concerns rin. though i do understand na tutok talaga ang adamson in making sure their students pass their boards.

my main concern about mapua is a lot of people have been saying that their quality of education has really deteriorated ever since nag-iba po yung admin. is mapua still the top-tier engineering school or should i look into adamson na po?

i'm not a top student naman but i believe im a little above average. thank u so much for any help and advice!!
