Is always playing toward bot side simply the best play?

Hey guys, I’ve been grinding league all day every day for the past three weeks and got from Iron IV to Silver II. Over the past few days, I’ve noticed that every game I lose, my botlane loses hard. I’ve been trying to only full clear towards bot lane in order to support them and I think that makes sense because of the inherent volatility of having four players in one part of the map. How do you guys think about the game? Does this make sense?

Am I the problem? How to support my botlane?

I've been on a ranked grind recently, from Iron IV to Silver II in about 3 weeks. One issue that I keep on running into on my grind to gold is that in the majority of games that I lose, my botlane loses HARD. I'm talking down 5k gold at 20 minutes, completely offline, and completely useless for the rest of the game. I've been pathing botside at the start of every game and trying to play around dragons more so that I'm botside more consistently but it doesn't seem to help. I can ping, I can type, they still end up dying.
