Not me but my husband just received the news of no longer being considered after his psych exam. We are kind of taking it hard as we feel he made it past so many steps and waited patiently just to hear this awful news. He’s gotten denied from one other department after just an application. Did anyone else have a rough start like this?? Is this normal?? Does anyone have some words of encouragement we could really use it.
Does anyone actually enjoy evening shift? Like it’s their shift of choice??? It makes me so depressed. I took this job because it had good pay, however only had evening shift available. I’ve always been a day shift girl so this has been the most depressing couple months of my life. I’ve just switched to PRN so I’m hoping things get better ):
Cried at work for the first time in AWHILE today. Nurse asking so much of me. So many showers. RUDE ass residents calling me a bitch every other hour and screaming at me. Took a bathroom break and just started CRYINGGGGG ugh I hate days like this.
I tried to stick it out as long as possible but I just truly can’t- I don’t know how some of y’all do it. I’m in healthcare and have a physically demanding job and I just talked to HR about being taken off the schedule and I am SO relieved. A little bit stressed money wise but I know wherever I slack my husband will pick up. I’m literally so happy I could cry tears of joy.
Do you guys ever think about the residents you either have worked with in the past or currently work with who are so sweet but for lack of a better word waste away in their bed day after day. I worked agency for 2 years at all kinds of facilities and I think about the lower income facilities I’ve seen that just leave their residents in bed DAY AFTER DAY. yes they’re changed, cleaned, and taken care of in that sense but what about everything else ?):

How do y’all deal with those days or weeks where you REALLY don’t want to be there. It’s my first day back after a long stretch of days off due to waiting on my test results back from a TB test and I am STRUGGLING. especially with the nice weather coming out I do NOT want to be here 😫

I don’t listen to that much rex Orange County however I think that Pluto projector is one of the most underrated love songs ever. It always brings me to tears it’s so sweet. It took me being in an actual long term relationship with someone I adore and love to really understand the lyrics. Specifically the end - “stay forever, you know more than anyone and it’s you that knows my darkness and you know my bedroom needs, you could blast me and my secrets but there’s probably just no need” :,) like that’s exactly what it feels like to be with someone for so long that they know everything about you and love you despite all your shortcomings. UGH I didn’t know where else to talk about this!!!!
