The Masaq Hub's Mind >!personally mused the conspiracy's king pins may have been a rogue Mind (or Minds) while Quilan personlly suspected another rival galactic power to Culture. Either way the conspirators being revealed would have serious geopolitical ramifications - if a rogue Mind or cabal of Minds got exposed, they'd face the Culture equivalent of high treason, conspiracy, and terror charges (or/and diplomatic relations with an Involved foreign power linked to the Masaq plot would deteriorate drastically).!<

Anybody purchased and played 007 First Light and get flashbacks to Perfect Dark's single player campaign? The Pearl hotel resort is similar to the Carrington Villa mission, if it was produced today and "Knightfall" follows a lot of beats from dataDyne Central & dataDyne Research. The art direction and layout of seedy nightclubs, shipwrecks in deserts, jungle islands, etc, also seems to be a more refined, fully realised take on what Perfect Dark Zero was trying to aim for. Also another sign that IOI maybe be secret super fans of the Perfect Dark franchise is that First Light's villainous duo (not to give too much away) are almost exactly how I imagined Perfect Dark: Initial Vector's Friedrich Murray and Laurent Hayes in my head.
