Also, if anyone wants to give me ideas, like maybe doing a mix of that "Bennett witch" part and a "Mikaelson witch" part, which was something I had also thought about to give Hope more of a family, but I couldn't find a way to explain it that made any sense. I also didn't want to overshadow Hope for the same reason I didn't make her a Siphon witch—so as not to overshadow Lizzie. But I think Cleo's character would have been better if she had been a Bennett witch. If you like it, or think I should change something, or want to give me ideas, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

Villain plot

Am I the only one who thinks there were too many villainous witches in this series who were impossible to kill?

In season one, the witches bring the Original family to the city, try to kill Hope, and create the moon rings that strengthen the werewolves and weaken Klaus.

In season two, we have Esther on one hand and Daliah on the other, both impossible to kill, and they only managed to kill her thanks to Daliah.

In season three, my favorite, we still have the witch, but she's a bit more in the background because of the Strix and the Beast Serum—meaning the villains are vampires again. Although I have to say, this Beast Serum thing didn't quite convince me. I think the super venom from the bite would have been better if Hope, Klaus, or Hayley had it.

In season four, we have Inandu, another impossible-to-kill witch, forcing the brothers to split up because they can't defeat her. This storyline continues into season five.

Something I would have improved about the series, although I honestly liked it more than The Vampire Diaries. That the first season is perfect, but as a finale, I think it would have been better if they had used Hope's blood to create hybrids for the wolves, allowing them to dominate the city. We could have had the wolves as the villains in the second season, and maybe even see something of Esther.

In the second season, introducing Freya is perfect. I would have introduced him as a heretic, and perhaps instead of Daliah, they could have used Mikael with the dark objects that Kol created and that Cami later possessed. I think this plotline could have been developed further.

The third season was perfect, except that with the Beast Serum, they should have left Lucian alone and moved on to another storyline. They then portray Marcel as an incredible vampire, and in the following season, they nerf him (similar to what happened with Freya, who was super powerful when she was connected to Daliah, and in my opinion, they gradually nerfed her over the seasons).

In the fourth season, Freya, as the heroine and queen she is, along with Davina, Hope, and Vincent, could defeat Inandu by creating some kind of weapon with Labonair blood. Or, even better, don't include Inandu at all; do a crossover between season 8 of TVD and season 4 of The Originals, featuring Hell, Cade, Freya and Bonnie fighting against the fires of Hell.

In the last season, the nazi vampires weren't quite convincing. I'd say maybe they should bring back the Beast Serum and finish them off for good, or have them be an army commanded by Aurora, even if they were just the remaining Strix.

I repeat, this is just my opinion. Daliah and Inandu were incredible villains, but there were just too many witches in that series, and everyone was against them. When I watched the show, I was thinking, "Okay, next season, what super-powerful witch will appear to try and take them down now?"

Kai Parker

I just found these image on Pinterest and it kind of scared me. I don't know exactly what it is, but it reminds me a bit of the Nogitsune from Teen Wolf.

What if...

Okay, I have to post this because I'm cracking up.

I'll repeat, in case anyone doesn't know, I have a roulette app where I have the characters from The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, their species, their families, and sometimes when I'm bored I try out combinations.

But I swear, this one made me burst out laughing: Mikael and Lily...

Can you imagine if instead of Julian as Lily Salvatore's partner, we had Mikael...? I mean, it would have been insane! 😂😂😂 Yes, it's super random, but I have to say the dynamic between the Mikaelson brothers and the Salvatore brothers when they found out would have been hilarious.

What if...?

Okay, for those who don't know, I've made some posts where I paired up random Vampire Diaries characters with the originals using a roulette app I downloaded on my phone. Well, I was watching TikTok and saw the typical video that says, based on your zodiac sign or birth month, this is your Vampire Diaries family, species, boyfriend, and best friend.

And I decided to try it with my roulette app, but instead of choosing a specific character from the show, I chose Elena. I swiped on who her boyfriend would be, and it landed on Stefan. Then I swiped on her species, and it landed on witch. Finally, I swiped on her mother from all the characters in the show (I should clarify that I included all the female characters regardless of age), and it landed on Katherine. Then I did the same for her father, and it landed on Elijah.

In conclusion, according to the app, Elena's parents would be Elijah and Katherine. Elena, instead of being a vampire, would be a witch, and her boyfriend would be Stefan. I've been laughing for half an hour, especially about the parents, because Stefan makes sense, but I was really curious to imagine if Katherine and Elijah had been together, had Elena, and she had been a traveling witch or a Mikaelson witch. 🤣🤣🤣
