Why Hope almost never remembers or talks about her mother?

Isn't it strange that after Hayley was such a good mother and did everything for Hope,Hope seems to have forgotten her, always remembering and grieving for her father Klaus, but she doesn't seems to remember her mother?

What’s up with supernatural teen Heroines being vigins?

what was up with Hope being a virgin until the 4th & final season? She’s the main character & the most powerful badass yet she doesn’t get to have sex until she’s 18. & then she loses her virginity & it causes her bf to die so it’s the 1 & only time she has sex as a human! It feels like slut shaming to me. How she waited so long to finally lose her virginity, dating Landon for over a year before having sex & then as soon as she has sex there’s horrible consequences involving the guy she loves. When she finally gets Landon back they continue dating but can’t have sex ever again. It reminded me of a couple other tv shows, Buffy the vampire slayer & Sabrina the newest Netflix version of that show. Supernatural teen female main character is a virgin for a long time & when she finally has sex with the love of her life, horrible consequences happen.

I’m just wondering is there like a reason for this plot line in these shows? Why do they have to make such a big deal about virginity & having sex? I can’t help but think if hopes character was male then there wouldn’t be such an emphasis on virginity & consequences after sex. Also all the adults in his life wouldn’t be so concerned about his ability to have children. Alaric mentioned that when hope was only 16-17. Also just cuz you can’t carry a baby that’s biologically yours in your uterus doesn’t mean you can’t be mother, have children or have a family. There’s adoption, surrogates, foster families, etc. ok I’m done sorry for the long post

What’s your Legacies Unpopular Opinion?

Whenever I see an unpopular opinion post in the main TVD sub I often role my eyes because many of the opinions expressed there are very popular, at least within that sub.

So I was wondering what counts for an unpopular opinion here! Now, let’s be respectful, even if the opinion boils your blood. I'll put away pitchforks and torches if you do.

Go!

OC in aesthetic

Also, if anyone wants to give me ideas, like maybe doing a mix of that "Bennett witch" part and a "Mikaelson witch" part, which was something I had also thought about to give Hope more of a family, but I couldn't find a way to explain it that made any sense. I also didn't want to overshadow Hope for the same reason I didn't make her a Siphon witch—so as not to overshadow Lizzie. But I think Cleo's character would have been better if she had been a Bennett witch. If you like it, or think I should change something, or want to give me ideas, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know.

What’s your Post-Legacies headcannon?

I noticed that most fanfictions tend to focus on retelling the story from the fan’s preferred or inspired perspective, yet few ever go beyond the story and I feel that’s far too limiting. Legacies also has this, so I wanted to ask everyone what they think.

  1. What happens to the couples?

  2. How do their lives look after everything? More adventure, peace or both?

  3. Other questions I am not thinking of right now.

For me? I've come up with a fanfiction detailing one of the biggest adventures the crew will ever have, I’m writing it right now and don't really plan to post it. Mainly cause it involves aliens, a self insert MC and a few other decisions the fandom may never agree with. Otherwise, the couples stay mostly the same.

If you want to know about it, I’ll tell ya, but I'm here to hear about your madness. So what you got?

What was the point of the trident and what is Mora Miserium?

I know I am supposed to know this because I am on S3 but I was a little confused on the “big words” that they were using in S2 to explain what these things were & what they did.I remember that the trident is a object that Josie used to put Dark Magic in as well with the Mora Miserium. That’s all I remember. If anyone could please help me that would be nice😭😅

Am I Too Harsh on Legacies or Is It Actually Boring?

Okay be honest… is it worth restarting Legacies? 😭

I loved TVD and The Originals with my whole soul but I tried watching Legacies and tapped out halfway through season 2 because every episode felt like supernatural Scooby-Doo.

Does it actually get better or do I just need to accept that I wanted The Originals 2.0 and that’s not what this show is 💀

Someone convince me to continue because I WANT to care about Hope Mikaelson’s story so bad.

I have an opinion and no one to share it with

I recently watched the originals then immediately after I watched legacies well it definitely didn’t live up to the originals I still definitely enjoyed the show and I think it had some really phenomenal moments and characters however after watching these two shows I decided to rewatch vampire diaries and I always find myself thinking “wow really” about some of the choices made during seasons 7 and more specifically 8 but I’ve come up with an opinion and I need to share it seasons 7&8 i would say closely resemble legacies in it’s more reaching for plot points/crazy stories and characters so my opinion is if you enjoyed seasons 7&8 of vampire diaries I think you’d like legacies and you do agree? Do you find the final two seasons of vampire diaries closely resemble the writing Choses made in legacies?😊

*update* this was my first ever Reddit post and you have all made me SO HAPPY getting to have a discussion about something I love so much and all of your opinions I love it!

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a bit confused

Which of these two powers are stronger..? Would it be Cade or the Gods from legacies? I never finished tvd ngl, but frim what I heard Cade is pretty much ultimately strong. While Ken and his people are supposed to be gods. Who wins this fight? Is there even a fight that would occur between them?
